Han, as the receptionist of the company, received the lightest sentence. Fu, Deng and Feng were sentenced to six, three and two years, respectively. The court also confiscated all six models of the Bible players and six computers.

Bible players are used to play pre-recorded audio clips of the Bible, sermons, hymns and other Christian material. In an attempt to suppress the growth of Christianity the Chinese government has made manufacturing and selling Bible players illegal in China.

Let us pray.

  • Uphold Han in prayer and ask the Lord to comfort her and help her to overcome her time in prison.
  • Pray He will grant her the courage to continue to love and serve Him and to encourage others in the faith.
  • Pray that Fu, Deng, Feng and the many other Chinese Christians imprisoned for their faith would be comforted and strengthened by the Lord.
