Two Iranian Christians continue to await a judge’s decision on their appeal of prison sentences they received in December 2017.
Eskander Rezaie and Suroush Saraie, both of whom have been previously imprisoned, face eight-year sentences if their appeal is denied.
Eskander was arrested in July 2017 after hundreds of New Testaments were discovered in his home, and Suroush, a pastor, was arrested for trying to exempt the children of Christian converts from Islamic instruction.
The men were hopeful that a March hearing might resolve the charges against them, but the judge has not yet ruled on their appeal.

- Ask the Lord to strengthen Eskander and Suroush and provide them and their families with patience.
- Pray the judge will examine the case justly and overturn the sentences.
- Pray that believers throughout Iran will not be fearful but will continue to proclaim salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
