Two sisters who converted to Christianity were forced to flee their village after their brother threatened to kill them for leaving Islam.
Before converting to Christianity, ‘Nazli’ felt that Allah was unfair and discriminated against women. A Christian relative helped Nazli to understand how different the true God is. After Nazli’s brother learned that she had become a believer, he beat her and threatened to have her killed. But Nazli led her sister to Christ as well, and both then decided to leave their village.
They currently live in a VOM-sponsored safe house, where they are receiving further instruction in the Christian faith.

- Thank the Lord for bringing the Gospel to this family; pray these two women will grow in their knowledge and understanding of Christ. Pray for their brother and the rest of the family.
- Pray for the safety of Christian converts from Islam, who are increasingly targeted in ‘honour killings.’ Thank the Lord for His protection of these two women.
- Pray that Islamic movements sweeping the area will not hinder Jordan’s relative religious freedom, or church growth.
