Esther is a Bible college student in the Philippines.
Hi, I’m Esther and I’m 16 years old.
One day when it was night time and we were having our dinner, we received a text from one of our church members, who is also a policeman. He said, ‘Pastor, you need to leave from your house, from your home because the government said that the MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front) wants to attack your house and burn it. So pick up your things right now.’
So we packed up our things and moved from our house. Before we left our house we said a simple prayer, “God, you will never leave us or forsake us, you never want your people to fall, to be destroyed from the destruction of Satan.” That’s the kind of feelings that we cannot express, we are so scared, we are trembling. But my mother said, “My daughter, don’t be afraid, because our God is always on our side.”
We went back because we want to continue our ministry there and those people we are still ministering to, we want them to be saved and to know more about Jesus Christ.
I know that God sent me here to become his great vessel and to tell his people that are not yet saved that his salvation is available to everybody.
You can help Bible college students in restricted nations to complete their training by sponsoring a student.
