Members of Boko Haram have reportedly come to faith in Christ after missionaries fearlessly preached the Gospel in north-eastern Nigeria.
A Nigerian ministry affiliated with Christian Aid has aggressively sought to plant churches in some of the most dangerous parts of Nigeria, paving the way for many Nigerians to convert to Christianity.
The road is rarely easy for these converts, as one former Boko Haram member was sent a video of Boko Haram militants killing his family after his conversion. Even after these immense hardships, these brothers and sisters in Christ are remaining faithful, while the Nigerian ministry is reaping the fruits of serving God in extremely difficult parts of the world.
Meanwhile, Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari says that the end of Boko Haram is in sight and that the terror group will be defeated soon. Buhari’s statements come after several weeks of intensified Boko Haram violence on civilians.
Since the beginning of the Muslim holiday month of Ramadan, Boko Haram has increased the scale and frequency of its attacks, killing numerous Christians and Muslims in recent weeks.
