Some students who attend may have experienced great levels of persecution, especially those from the Mindanao region. Tensions are high for Christians in this particular region as late last year, 27 people were killed in a church bombing.
Further accommodation at the Bible college was needed. This is where VOM, with the help of our supporters, stepped in and last year provided funds for a new dormitory building.
The two-storey dormitory has since been built and already provides accommodation for the male students. The Dean of Students also lives there making him available for guidance.
Students and faculty have called the new dormitory “a blessing” which can now also be used for seminars and conventions as well as hosting visiting pastors.
The college can now train more students and the facility will continue to equip young men and women for the Kingdom.
