Project: Support for School Children in Vietnam

Pastors and preachers in restricted nations often struggle financially to support their families while they are ministering.

Many of them travel frequently to visit congregations, preach and train pastors, and sustaining an income can be difficult.

Voice of the Martyrs Australia provides support in many ways and for pastors in Vietnam, that meant being able to send their children to school without the financial burden.

Last year, VOM, with the help of our supporters, funded a project which sent 30 children of pastors and ministers in the Lam Dong province in Vietnam to school. The funding covered fees, school supplies and uniforms for students ranging from 1st grade to 12th grade.

This has lessened the financial pressure they have faced and given them more time to minister. The pastors and their children are incredibly thankful for this provision and see it as a great blessing.

Ministry partners have already recognised around 100 more children in the region who need support for schooling and hope to reach more of them in future.
