Project: Teacher Support in Mindanao

Christians in Mindanao, in the Philippines, face varying degrees of persecution from rebel groups, radical Muslims and a communist government.

Last year Voice of the Martyrs Australia, with the help of our supporters, set up a project to aid four teaching staff at the Anchor Bay Bible College in Mindanao.

The recipients are already committed to teaching and serving the students at the Bible college. The students, young men and women from all over Mindanao, are trained in discipleship, equipping them to share their faith.

The teachers also witness in prisons and hospitals. They evangelise house to house in the local area and beyond.

Moving forward, they are praying for more workers to help train students. VOM is continuing to support the teachers in 2019.
