Voice of the Martyrs to me was just another charity. I heard about their works but didn’t really think much of it. But I was told that they do a volunteer day which is open to the public. My now wife and I said let’s check this out.
Once we arrived I was taken back by the pictures and stories on the walls but there was one particular piece of clothing that had been worn by an individual who has been kept in captivity. To see the bloodstains on the clothing and hearing the story behind it really impacted my life to the point I committed my life to following Christ! I am amazed at the work they do and how many people they have committed to helping. It is no longer another charity but rather an extension of our Christian family.
