Two Christian converts from Islam in Yemen were killed during the past couple of months. It is reported that in September in Taiz in south-west Yemen, a Christian man was ambushed and shot to death by a suspected al-Qaeda member. On 2 October, a Christian man was shot to death in his home.
The slain Christians were known to have been openly confessing their faith. Yemen, a 99.9% Muslim country, is ruled by sharia law and is presently caught up in a civil war.

I received my monthly copy of VOM for August and I just wanted to say that the story of Khaled, his wife Samira, and their children touched my heart! It’s stories such as those, that really make you think what you’re “going” through… Sometimes we cry over the insignificant things we have to leave behind as a new Christian follower and then we read these REAL LIFE stories of TRULY TRIED Christians and it breaks you down because you SEE what a TRUE follower is! I’m sorry. Thank you. May the GOOD LORD be with all our brothers and sisters that are being persecuted for the Gospel. THANK YOU JESUS FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE AND CONTINUE TO DO FOR US SINNERS!
Amen and God bless you Guadalupe.
