Bibles and outreach resources: Central Asia

Kazakhstan bible

In a country in Central Asia, the distribution of Bibles is restricted and they are difficult to obtain outside large cities. Last year, we helped fund the translation, printing and distribution of Christian books, including Bibles, to equip the local church with materials to do outreach, and to provide spiritual resources to help believers thrive and mature. Despite some resources being available online, many believers prefer physical books. The demand is considerable. This has been a continuing project over several years.

Please pray for the protection of those who distribute the books. Praise God for this great thirst for His Word and pray that many would rejoice as they read about Jesus.

Discipleship material: China

china church

Training materials were provided to equip church leaders in discipling believers in underground churches. The beneficiaries study this material in small groups throughout China. Some are in rural areas with low literacy skills – in these areas, audio devices were provided. The materials contained 280 lessons for pastors to teach in their churches. This allows churches to be decentralised but study the same lessons concurrently. This is a repeat project. Requests for this material are regularly received by our ministry partners.

Please pray that the effectiveness of the training will not only strengthen the church in China but will move into surrounding nations.
