Nepal: Bibles Plus From the Field

28 May 2024

Nepal

In a remote part of northern Nepal, there is a group of Christians who are hungry for God’s Word and need assistance financially, as they are neglected and marginalised because of their Christian faith.

In the previous year, many believers lost their homes and livelihoods because of landslides caused by heavy rains. Even their makeshift church building was destroyed by the landslides. However, the believers remained hopeful that God would provide for and sustain them. Our visit, with God’s provision of the Bible, plus basic food items, came in a timely manner and was graciously received with much joy amongst the believers.

These poor and persecuted Christian families were blessed with food provisions such as rice, salt, snacks, tea, soap, toothpaste, winter blankets, warm caps, socks and God’s Word in their language.
